Martin County is located on the North side of Palm Beach County.
The promise of a better life that lured the earliest settlers to Florida is still motivating newcomers to Martin County. In the early days, the pioneers were promised land in exchange for five years of homesteading.
Today, the price of land is traded in dollars but residents are still given title to a new lease on life.

The local school system is considered one of the top two in the state and it has the second highest graduation rate.
Health care facilities are first-rate and state-of-the-art.
Despite heavy growth in the county's density remains low. Building heights are capped at approximately four stories.
